APPROACHI aim to help educate and guide others to understand the value of movement. I firmly believe that a weekly movement practice aids in bettering one's physical and mental health. In return, this will translate into one’s day to day life and how they show up in their workplace and relationships. I pull from numerous styles in the yoga system and functional movement to guide a relevant style to students wanting to understand the way they move. I love the fluidity of a vinyasa sequence but I also appreciate the details of alignment and the science behind functional movement. As I continuously evolve as a student and teacher, so do my practices. Deeply rooted in love and kindness, my vision is to help my community better connect with themselves and others by creating awareness through movement.

BACKGROUNDMy movement practice began over 15 years ago. From playing multiple sports to following youtube videos on pilates. I began to realize that sports were not enough - my body needed the combination of strength and flexibility. After hiring my own coach, I quickly experienced changes in my body, but the far more profound shift was in my whole being. Not only did I gain more confidence, but my energy levels and mood had improved. The yogic philosophy has always been a part of my life. I’d like to thank my mom for introducing me to this practice. I had never fully appreciated her wisdom until I decided to embark on my first teacher training. The intention was to deepen my personal practice but shortly after, I decided to teach, and the rest is history.
